The Goa Tourism Policy 2020

 



The Goa Tourism Policy 2020 and the Tourism Master Plan- a 25 year vision document proposes to make the coastal State as one of the safest tourism destination for international as well as domestic travelers.

The tourism policy and master plan, which was approved by cabinet on Wednesday, broadly  aims to shift tourism from beaches to various other aspects like educational, cultural and nature-based tourism, leisure, entertainment, and meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibition (MICE).

There is also a provision for constituting the Goa Tourism Board, which will chalk out strategies for promotion and marketing Goa at the international platform.
