The purchase cost of treated drinking water is low in Goa as compare to other parts of India. As a result there is no demand for sewage treated water in Goa.
However using sewage treated water for secondary usage is mandatory under the municipal urban sanitation policy and waste water recycle and reuse policy says DMA Mr Deepesh Priolkar at Panaji.
