In #Goa Keri village in Ponda Taluka faces acute shortage of #Drinking #water.




Keri a village surrounded by greenery “ Kulagar” is starving for drinking water. In front of every house you will see Barrels filled with water supplied by tankers. Infact the village is surrounded by water streams and also Mahadai river flows by the side of the village.
Villagers say that situations worsens during the summer, when almost all the wells dry upand this is continued foe last more than a decade. This problem of shortage of drinking water also effects our rituals, functions, marriage when we have to individually hire a water tanker and keep 10/15 barrels for our use.

Water is precious. We have to Save Water. Recycle & re-use water.
